Pin  Cherry-
A shrub to small tree with oval leaves tapering to a sharp tip. The leaves  are thin with round-toothed edges, yellowish-green on both surfaces.  Pin cherries were eaten by First Nations peoples, depending on their  local abundance, but the cherries did not dry well. The also used the  bark for decorating baskets. Pin cherries make good jelly.
