The Deep Signs:
Aries: A summer palace of coral and rock. A living, breathing place that pulls itself along to warmer waters.
Taurus: A network of sulfurous caves. Its residents never see sunlight, feeling off of the molten core and crushing weight of the sea above.
Gemini: The place where all sunken ships eventually converge.
Cancer: A dry salt flat. A seemingly endless plane of sea-salt and bone. The ghosts of leviathans long dead swim through what is now the sky.
Leo: A church swallowed after the dike fell. What remains of the preacher is now home to some of gods more rare creatures.
Virgo: A well in the middle of nowhere. There shouldn’t be groundwater for miles.
Libra: The natural granite spire jutting out from the waves. The rock face carved into a smooth sacrificial altar. The stars are so bright here.
Scorpio: A channel once used for trade, now choked with the corpses of warships.
Ophiuchus: A poisoned coastline thought to be devoid of life. New things grow beneath the waves. More resilient things.
Sagittarius: An ancient sewer system. The prison at its heart.
Capricorn: A sunken city, it halls and doorways far to vast to have been home to humans. Its residents must have been titanic.
Aquarius: An armory of scales and chitin, seemingly abandoned.
Pisces: A crossroads. the current flows in every direction. What could have been signposts jut from the water, their instructions long faded.
